Full Stack Developer (Founding Engineer / CTO-track) Student Box AI is an early-stage EdTech startup building an AI-powered platform to help students succeed academically and stay engaged. What you’ll do Build the MVP end-to-end (backend + frontend) Make key technical and product decisions with the founder Implement AI features (LLMs, RAG, agents) Set up scalable architecture for future growth Tech stack Backend: Python (FastAPI) Frontend: Next.js / React Database: MongoDB AI integrations Who we’re looking for Strong full stack experience Startup mindset, ownership, and independence Interest in long-term company building (not freelance only) Compensation Equity-based at MVP stage (standard vesting + cliff) Cash compensation after MVP launch, first paying customers, or funding Growth opportunity into CTO / Lead Engineer role Location: NY / Remote
