Use Your Dev Skills to Help Cut 10% of Global Carbon Emissions We’re hiring a hands-on founding engineer ready to take ownership and grow into a technical leadership role. You’ll be the bridge transitioning manual, fragmented data into a seamless flow—the core power of carbon reduction. This is primarily an equity-based full-time position until our public product launch and fundraising in Q1 2026. Ideal candidates may also join in a co-founder capacity. We have strong enterprise interest, global distribution channels, and the first industry white paper already in distribution. About Envire Our mission is to empower the events industry to lead climate action by making sustainability visible, measurable, and profitable. Imagine a future where events like the Super Bowl, Coldplay concerts, and TechCrunch are not just net zero, but carbon negative—global highways for climate innovation. This future is already taking shape, and you can be part of it. We’re launching pilots in the United States that provide a referral pathway into 1,000+ global venues. We’re currently negotiating our first enterprise deal with a venue portfolio spanning hundreds of sites worldwide. Our team is distributed between the SF Bay Area and Finland. We are remote-first, offer flexibility, and meet in person three times a year during Climate Weeks. What We’re Building Envire is a B2B sustainability data platform that automates event-specific emissions tracking by pulling real-time utility and waste data from fragmented systems. We eliminate 90% of manual work and help venues reduce operating costs while cutting emissions. Envire is a secure, cloud-native, serverless platform on AWS, enabling accurate, event-specific tracking and planning—even when multiple events happen simultaneously—and delivering insights across mobile, desktop, and tablet. Core features: Deep API integrations with 50+ utility and facility systems & document ingestion (ETL) Scalable data pipelines and high-volume processing Dynamic, real-time sustainability reporting Modular architecture for future data enrichment and analytics Who We Are Our team includes: Experts in AWS/serverless architecture, UX design, and QA A global event planner The founder of Net Zero Carbon Events The sustainability manager from North America’s busiest convention center Advisors from the World Bank, UFI (Global Event Industry Association), and exited technical founders About You “I can build anything—bring it!” You thrive on ownership and love building clean, scalable systems from the ground up.
